LITTLE TREASURES The whole world in miniature A sense of dedication  to  and passion for the ancient values  connected  to the image and  a  skilled hand seems to be the common denominator of the artists hosted in the  Little Treasures  exhibition.   And, even when photography (or digital technology)  are used to enrich the visual texture, it is as if an almost handcrafted poetic  brought it all back to the precious   artefact s of medieval workshops.   Curated by  Paola Trevisan, the “little jewels” were on display at the De Marchi Gallery in Bologna between 23 March and 4 April. Those who  had the pleasure to visit it  could see how the artworks on display, with their spirit of innovation, inspired analogies with the exquisite, very refined decorations of ancient illustrators.   Proof of how such a comment is not inappropriate is the size of the support  employed by  the artists: ...

Represented by Galleria Monteoliveto, Nice France I had a good fortune to exhibit at Art fair Monaco 2013. It was a wonderful event with artists from around world and my special project was inspirited in a special  friend and his unconditional love for us.

TWITTER ART EXHIBIT: LOS ANGELES I just wanted to draw your attention to an event I'll be taking part in during January 2013. It's called the Twitter Art Exhibit, and artists from around the world each donate a postcard-sized original work of art to be exhibited at Exhale Unlimited Gallery in Los Angeles, and sold in aid of Art Division. Art Division is a nonprofit program supporting underserved young adults aged 18-25 in L.A.’s Rampart District, in preparation for careers in the visual arts. I really believe that art can change the life of a young person, and you can build a good life from it. So I was only too happy to donate this little piece I made especially for the event. It's called 'Princess"', and will be available to buy for just $35.00 from the gallery in January/February. $35.00 is the price of every single work of art there, regardless of who the artist is or how much their work usually sells for.
